A Legacy in Texas Real Estate
Carol Cones began her real estate journey in 1969, stepping into the residential sales world with a passion for helping people find their place to call home. Over the decades, her career blossomed into something much bigger—spanning corporate leadership, commercial real estate, and eventually creating a multigenerational family legacy in the industry.
In 1982, Carol pivoted into commercial real estate, taking on sales and marketing for a dynamic company involved in everything from land development to home building, retail, and property management. Her ability to lead and innovate soon led her to become Vice President of Marketing for MeritBanc Savings. There, she built a comprehensive marketing program from the ground up across several divisions—mortgage banking, lending, title, and development.
But Carol’s true calling brought her back to residential real estate. Teaming up with her sister, Pam Bernhardt, the two quickly made their mark as top-producing agents with Keller Williams, earning recognition locally and nationally.
In 2003, Carol took on a new leadership role as Team Leader of the Keller Williams Memorial office, where her vision and energy fueled over 60% growth. That success led to her appointment in 2007 as Regional Director for Keller Williams’ South Texas Region, where she continued to inspire growth and excellence.
Today, Carol serves as the Operating Principal of a thriving Keller Williams franchise. She actively coaches agents, advises clients, and—perhaps most meaningfully—works alongside her family as part of a fourth-generation real estate team in Texas. With decades of experience and a heart for both business and people, Carol’s legacy continues to grow.
